WHY
TILING FLANGES?
The
SB-903, -803, -703, etc., models are used in recessed areas and,
of course, would require three tiling flanges.
The EB, EBR
and MTB models usually do not have tiling flanges. They are placed
against a finished wall and a silicone sealant is used to fill the
seam where the basin meets the wall. If
required, tiling flanges can be furnished on the EB, EBR and MTB's.
POINTS TO
REMEMBER
WITH REGARD TO TILING FLANGES
- All mop sinks
with stainless steel caps are flanged with 20-gauge stainless
steel.
- All uncapped
models are flanged with 20-gauge paint grip, , galvanized steel
cast integral.
- 0n models
without tiling flanges and which are placed against a finished
wall, one of the mastic or caulking compounds should be used for
sealing.
- The tile
wainscot drops in front of the tiling flange.
