POWDER COATED STEEL
Powder Coated Galvanized-Bonderized Steel is available in all styles for
showers and dressing compartments. The economy and durability of powder
coated steel makes it the popular choice for new construction or remodeling.
Periodic washing with a mild soap and an occasional waxing with a good
automobile wax will keep the finish looking new for years.
Finish is a superior quality powder coated Hybrid Epoxy - Polyester applied
electrostatically. Baked at the correct temperature until fully cured.
The exclusive use of galvanized bonderized steel gives additional protection
and enhances adhesion. The finish shall meet or exceed the following.
Humidity 100% @ 100'F 1000 hrs.
Salt Spray 20% @ 10O'F 300 hrs.
Water Soak @ 110'F 1000 hrs.
Hardness 2 H. min.
• STAINLESS STEEL
Exclusive use of type 304 stainless steel polished to a No. 4 Finish offers
the ultimate in showers and dressing compartments. The Finish is protected
in the manufacturing process and in shipping by a P.V.C. film which is
removed at the job site. Any scratches can be removed and the original
beauty restored by buffing. Also available with a Deep Textured surface
or a
powder coated finish.
• H.D.P. (High Density Polymer)
H.D.P. showers and dressing compartments are manufactured using high density
polymer resin. Color is solid thru-out. Compartments cannot rust, rot,
delaminate or absorb odors like marble. Surface has a beautiful orange
peel finish to help prevent scratches. Completely water resistant, can
be used under any moisture condition.
• S.P.C. (Solid Phenolic Core)
S.P.C. showers and dressing compartments are fabricated of solid phenolic
core. Solid Phenolic Core Panels are composed of melamine-impregnated
decorative surface papers superimposed over a varying number of Kraft
phenolic core sheets to achieve a desired thickness. To form a one piece
unit which will not delaminate; edges are black solid phenolic resin.
Completely water resistant, impervious to steam, soaps and detergents.
Will not mildew.
CONSTRUCTION
The standard panel with Ribcore sounddeadening reinforcement is offered
as a standard at no extra charge. Sheet metal skins are bonded, under
pressure, to each cell of the core with an adhesive impervious to moisture.
Lighter weight, greater strength and permanently flat panels are provided
through this type of construction.
